PPACA Subsidy Qualification

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) allows for government subsidies to help individuals and families purchase health insurance through the Health Insurance Exchange.  To qualify for a subsidy you must be a legalized United States Citizen, have an household Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) of less than 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and not be eligible for affordable coverage through your employer.
